Who will most enjoy an About Us® game?

Our products are best enjoyed by grown ups who love to laugh!

About Us™, Boomer+™ Edition is ideally suited for Canadians born between 1934 and 1964. That’s because it’s about the population born between those years. About Us®, Grown Up Girls™ Edition is best enjoyed by… well…grown up girls. That’s because it’s about women who are 18 and up!

What makes an About Us® game unique?

Lots of things! First – they’re about us! And, they’re primarily based on research completed on our behalf by well-respected research firms. These firms provide the online survey expertise and reporting which enables us to create our products.

Also, unlike many other ‘trivia-type’ games, you won’t find the answers to most of our questions in a book or online. That’s because we don’t publish our research findings. We want every player to have the same opportunity to correctly answer the question on the playing card.

There are lots of other unique features of our games, but instead of reading about them, we suggest you experience their uniqueness. Give one or both games a whirl!

What are the game components in an About Us® game?

There are just two decks of cards in each game. That’s it! No other parts! Our products fit easily into most purses or knapsacks – and because there’s no assembly or complicated set up required, they can be enjoyed almost anywhere.

How long does it take to play each game?

Our products are designed so that they can be played relatively quickly (less than 20 minutes). Of course, with chit chat and laughter, they’ve been known to continue much longer. We suggest you try one or both - so you know for yourself!

Oh yes, if you don’t have time to play either game – but you want to encourage some rib-tickling discussion at a get together – simply use a few of the Questions Answers trivia cards . They’re ideal conversation starters!

Are there lots of rules to follow?

Rules are important but we think we’ve kept them to a minimum. Here’s a tip: It makes it much more enjoyable for all, if one person knows and can explain the basics upfront - and can anticipate any questions that might come up. Also, it’s always a good idea to tell your guests you’re changing the ‘official’ rules (or not following them at all!), if that’s what you decide to do.

Where can I purchase either or both games?

You can purchase our products through a select group of retailers or online through our site. To find a store location near you, simple click on the 'Store Locator' button.

When will I get my order?

Orders received before 4 pm will be shipped the following day with the exception of Saturday and Sunday. Please allow 2 to 6 days for delivery to occur. All orders are shipped via FedEx.

If we are out of stock, you will be notified when your order is placed.

What time of day should I expect my delivery?

You can expect to receive your order between 9 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.

What if I’m not home?

Our courier will leave the package in the best possible location which could be your mailbox or a discreet location around your front door. If it's not possible to leave the package, he/she will leave a note with further information.

Where can my order be shipped?

Our products can be shipped to most locations in Canada and the United States. Shipping and handling charges based on the address you provide with your order will be added at checkout.

Can I change my shipping address after my order has been placed?

Unfortunately, we cannot make changes to the 'ship to' address after your order has been placed. Please ensure you have verified this address prior to placing your order.

What if my order is damaged?

If your game arrives and it is damaged, please e-mail pictures of the damaged box to customerservice@aboutusgames.ca. Alternatively, you can mail pictures to: About Us Games Inc., P.O. Box 74562, 270 The Kingsway, Etobicoke, M9A 3T0. If mailing pictures to us, please ensure you include your contact information. We will review the pictures and contact you. Please note - opened game boxes cannot be returned or exchanged.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders can be cancelled and the order amount will be refunded in full if the order has not shipped. Orders already packaged for shipping are subject to a $5.00 restocking fee. Orders that have been shipped cannot be cancelled.

Can I return my game and get a refund?

Unopened games may be returned within 10 days of receipt of your order. If you decide to return your unopened game, you are responsible for shipping your return back to us and for all shipping costs incurred. Please ensure your contact information is included in the return and the game is not damaged or opened. A refund for the amount of the game will be processed within 5 business days of receiving your return shipment.
